Created in Wyoming.
Founder Michelle DeCelle created 307 Tallow & Sage in an in-between season—a time of unexpected change, caring for aging parents, and the need to build a different kind of livelihood. One with time, freedom, and a quieter pace at its foundation. Something that made room to live well, care for the people who mattered, and create something meaningful along the way.
In that space between responsibility and resilience, she turned to something generations before us understood well: see a need, look around at what’s available, make use of what the land provides, keep things simple, and make things with care.
Grass-fed beef tallow became the foundation. Nourishing oils and botanicals were added with purpose. And what began in her own kitchen slowly became something more.
She calls it her “Loaves and Fishes” project—starting with a little, trusting it could become enough.
Every batch is rendered, blended and whipped by hand in her home-kitchen. Jars are filled and labels applied at the dining room table, often somewhere between doctors’ appointments and caring for her parents.
Every jar is a quiet act of hope.
Proof that something good and beautiful can grow from hard seasons.
That there is still value in making things slowly and with intention. And that sometimes, the simple, time-tested things really are enough.
